Official in Babel calls to specify term of Directors General

Hila (IraqiNews.com) The Chairman of Projects Committee within Babel Provincial Council, Hamid al-Madli, demanded to “Limit the term of the Directors General for four years and can be extended for a fifth year.”

Madli stated to IraqiNews.com correspondent “Babel PC needs to assess the performance of the Directors General of the Governmental Departments in order to diagnose the strengths and weaknesses and raise the level of performance through nominating new names for the posts, since there are many Directors still holding their positions for four years ago.”

“Specifying the terms of the Directors for 4 years came in order not to witness new dictatorship practiced against the employees by their Directors,” he concluded.
