Outstanding students to be sent to USA to develop their abilities

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Researching and Development Directorate within the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research organized a workshop regarding the academic leadership program with the participation of representatives from various Iraqi universities in cooperation with the American Organization (IREX) which intends to send the outstanding students to America to develop their abilities.The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research reported in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”The workshop tackled giving lectures about scientific leadership, university administration, technology, knowledge, strategic planning and the differences in the education system between Iraq and USA.”The statement quoted the Director Manger of the Research and Development Directorate, Mohamed Seraj, as saying ”The aim of the workshop is to develop the skills of the academics to contribute in enhancing the reality of scientific research and upgrade education process in Iraq.” \END\
