People protest being demanded to evacuate their houses in Basra

Basra (IraqiNews.com) Dozens of people in Basra organized a demonstration after informing them to evacuate their houses by the committee responsible for removing the violations on governmental territories.A demonstrator, Moner Hussein, reported to the correspondent of IraqiNews.com ”There are more than (23) families live in an area, that was allocated to establish a project affiliated to the Ministry of Displacement and Migration, and the families were informed to evacuate their houses within ten days.””The Government promised the families to grant them IQD five millions as compensations, but this amount is not enough to secure a shelter for any family,” he added.”The demonstrators stated that they attended many concerned directorates, though none figure out a solution for their crisis,” noting that ”The demonstrates demanded the local government to intervene to settle this problem,” he concluded. \END\
