PM’s Spokesman denies America requested Iraq to dissolve its tribal forces

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, Iraqi Prime Minister’s Office denied that the Iraqi government received any request from the United States to dissolve the tribal armed forces in Iraq.

Rafed Al-Jabouri, the spokesman of Abadi’s Office stated today, “Iraqi government had never received such request to dissolve the tribal armed forces and integrate them within the Iraqi Army from the United States nor any country.”

“It’s not the policy of ours to allow others intervene in our internal affairs” he said.
