Sniper shoots UAE airplane near Baghdad Airport

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Monday that “UAE airplane was subject to shooting fire from a sniper while it was landing in Baghdad International Airport.”

The source clarified “A sniper shot at least three pullets from Rodhwaniya area of western Baghdad targeting the UAE airplane while it was landing in Baghdad International Airport.”

The source who spoke to IraqiNews.com on condition of anonymity added “The fire shooting resulted in injuring two passengers including a child on board of the plane.”

“This incident caused closing the airport in front of the aviation movement,” the source concluded. /End/
