2 strategies set to rehabilitate women situation in Iraq

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Huda Sajad, member of the Parliamentary Committee for Families and Women Affairs announced setting two strategies to upgrade the women situation with the cooperation of some ministries and civil society organizations and world experts from the United Nations.

Sajad told IraqiNews.com that “The file of women in Iraq is very important especially because Iraq has underwent bad circumstances that negatively affected the society in general and the women in particular consequently there are large number of uneducated women and those who raise their families.”

“The Government set two strategies in this regard, the first one is to combat violence against women and the other is to train the women,” she concluded.
