Supreme board for anti-drugs to be established in KR

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Health Ministry of Kurdistan Region announced the establishment of supreme board for Anti-Drugs.
A statement by Kurdistan Regional Government cited that “KR’s Minister of Health, Rikot Hama Rashid met with the high commission for psychological health in the Region where they decided to set up a supreme board for anti-drugs and identify the quality of the medicines that are given to patients at the health centers.”
“It was also decided to establish a department for the psychological researches at the MoH in KR besides opening centers for treating addiction cases in Erbil province associated to the KR,” the statement added.
It is worth mentioning that the drugs trade in Iraq has spread after events of 2003 due to the security chaos.
