TEFOL not to be adopted for High Studies as of 2013

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced that the TEFOL, IC3, ICDL and other similar tests will not be adopted when students will submit to higher studies in the new academic year (2013-2014) and replace it with a test to be conducted by the collages during admission procedures.

The Ministry quoted the Director General of Research and Development Directorate within the Ministry as saying in statement receive by IraqiNews.com on Sunday ”The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research approved on not adopting TEFOL and other similar certifications as a condition for Higher Studies and to replace it with an exam that will be conducted during admission procedures,” pointing that ”The governmental and private centers are allowed to hold developing courses for students.”

”The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research sets group of developing programs for master degrees by adding curriculum subjects to develop the skills of students in using computer and English language to be taught at college, ”the statement added. \
