Russian doctors to be contracted by Thi-Qar Health Directorate

Thi-Qar (IraqiNews.com) Director General of Dhi Qar Health Department, Saedi Kadhim made a visit to Russia to confer about holding contracts with medical specialists in the Ophthalmology and Tuberculosis to work in Dhi Qar province.

Iraq Health Ministry stated in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com “The six-days visit covered a number of Russian medical facilities. During this visit, the Iraqi officials closely observed the workflow at the hospitals of the advanced countries in order to transfer this expertise into the medical foundations in Iraq.”

“The visit centered on achieving mutual cooperation in field of the Ophthalmology and Tuberculosis, especially since the Russian government made significant progress in the fight against the Tuberculosis during the past ten years,” according to the report.
