Turkish visa is free for Iraqi citizens, says Turkish Embassy

(Iraqinews.com) Baghdad – The Turkish Embassy in Baghdad announced on Sunday, that the Turkish visa for Iraqi citizens will be “free,” while explained that the visa would be “electronic” and the checking process is at the embassy.
The embassy said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The visa stamp which was used to be granted at the Turkish airports has been cancelled,” noting that, “Ordinary passport holders from the United States, Ireland and the United Kingdom can get the electronic visa, while other people should pass through the checking process which must be done at the embassy individually.”
The statement added, “The Turkish visa will be granted for Iraqi citizens for free.”
