Water Resources Ministry implements project to remove sediments from Asafiya River of Basra

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Water Resources announced implementation of project to remove sediments from Asafiya river in Hartha district, 30 km to north of Basra province.

A statement by the Ministry cited that “The technical and engineering personnel of Sediments Removal from Rivers Department launched an action to remove sediments from Asafiya River in Hartha district associated to Basra.”
