 We vow to defeat ISIS, retake Mosul in 2016, says Abadi

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Monday, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced, that 2016 will be the year of the final victory and the termination of ISIS presence in Iraq, while confirmed that the coming liberation battle will take place in the city of Mosul.

Abadi said, “The Iraqi fighters have defeated ISIS and will continue their mission to liberate all Iraqi cities and villages.”

He added, “ISIS terrorists booby-trapped schools, mosques, hospitals, streets and everything in the city to impede the advance of the security forces,” pointing out that, “The liberalization battles of Ramadi were delayed in order to ensure the safety of its inhabitants.”

“ISIS was defeated and hundreds of its criminal terrorists were killed. 2016 will be the year of the final victory and the end of ISIS presence in Iraq,” Abadi continued.
