Wide deployment for traffic police during days of Eid al-Adha

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The General Traffic Directorate announced preparing for Eid al-Adha by conducting several precautionary procedures to eliminate traffic jams during days of Eid al-Adha.

The Director of Media Office with Traffic General Directorate, Brigadier Ammar Walid, stated to IraqiNews.com ”There will be a wide deployment for the traffic patrols during days of Eid al-Adha in order to eliminate the predicted traffic jams in the streets of Baghdad.”

”The traffic policemen will be intensified at streets nearby parks and entertainment places where usually Iraqi families attend during days of Eid,” he added, noting that “There will be a coordination with Baghdad Operations Command to preserve security in Baghdad,””Walid urged the citizens to cooperate with traffic policemen and not to park their vehicles but in the areas that are allocated for parking,” he concluded.
