(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Wednesday, the Yazidi human rights activist Risala Shirkani announced that ISIS sold Yazidi women in slave markets for prices as low as 1 US dollar, noting that the organization also donoated Yazidi girls to its members for free on the occasion of Eid.

Shirkani said in a press statement: “ISIS has 3 slave markets through which it sells Yazidi women in the cities of Fallujah, Mosul and the Syrian city of Raqqa,” adding that, “the organization sells woman for as low as 1 US dollar.”

Shirkani added “At the end of the month of Ramadan, ISIS donated Yazidi woman to every fighter in the ranks of the organization on the occasion of Eid.” She called on governments and humanitarian organizations to “take a stand and to accelerate the emancipation of abducted women.”
