(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Security and Defense, President of Investigation Committee of Mosul’s fall Hakim Zamili announced on Monday, that the majority of committee members voted agaist  the presence of former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and former parliament speaker Osama Najafi and the Kurdistan regional president Massoud Barzani to the meetings of the Committee, noting that the Committee has sent an official letter to those figures including “normal questions come to the point.”

Zamili said at a press conference today in the parliament building attended by IraqiNews.com, ” nine members of the Commission of the 19 attendees voted on the presence of former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and former parliament speaker Osama Najafi and the Kurdistan regional president Massoud Barzani to the Committee, while ten members voted against their attendance to the Commission, “noting that” he hoped the presence of these figures to the Commission. ”

“The Commission has sent an official letter to al-Maliki ,Najafi and Barzani,” noting that “the questions submitted from all members of the Committee and there is no political party has sent those questions,” Zamili added .

Zamili stressed that “those questions are in the heart of the subject,” hoping to “answer the questions”.

Zamili was revealed on Saturday (23 May 2015) about the Commission’s intention to direct questions to the former Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, former House Speaker Osama Najafi and President of Kurdistan, Massoud Barzani on the fall of the city.
