Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Prime Minister for Services, Salih al-Mutleg, inaugurated in Dubai the actions of Construction and Infrastructures Summit in Iraq, on Wednesday, that is being held by world and Arabic investment companies and the private sector in presence of the Minister of Transportation, Hadi al-Amiri, and the Minister of Planning, Ali al-Shukri as well as a group of experts specialized in construction and investment.

A statement by Mutleg’s office quoted him as saying during the opening speech “We are honored to share you this economical ceremony which is organized by private sector companies to enhance the mutual cooperation and seek setting the economic plans to promote the investment in all fields.”

“Iraq needs to keep pace with the world development, therefore we will discuss during this conference what the world and Arabic companies can offer to Iraq in the infrastructures sectors, especially in sectors of oil, energy, health, water, sewerage, roads, bridges agriculture, industry, mines and so forth,” Mutleg added.

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) 14 persons were killed and injured on Wednesday due to an armed attack on a prostitution house to the eastern Baghdad.

Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Seven women and five men were killed while two others were severely injured following an armed attack targeting a house for prostitution in Zayouna neighborhood of eastern Baghdad.”

“The gunmen fled after carrying out the attack while the police transported the dead bodies to the morgue and the injured to a hospital for treatment,” the source added.

(IraqiNews.com) Iran announced closeness of inaugurating plant for car making in Iraq.

Official Iranian “Arna” News Agency reported assistant of Iran Khodr Company for exports affairs, Abdul Adhim Saedan as saying “The Iran Khodr group for car making will inaugurate car making plant within next month in Alexandria district of southern Baghdad.”

Saedan added “The initial agreement to establish this plant had been achieved three years ago and led to sign an agreement between Iran Khodro industrial group and an Iraqi company along with the Iraqi Ministry of Industry.”

“The plant was established in Alexandria district and it will produce Samand and Rana Type cars,” he added.

Earlier, MP, Aliya Nusayif, of the Hurra Iraqiya Coalition called to replace the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hoshyar Zebari, by another figure from the Arab community.

In a statement received by IraqiNews.com, Tayfour said “It is unfortunate to recognize that some sides within the political process are chauvinists and do not believe in partnership and citizenship.”

“Such sides object assuming key posts like the Presidency or the FM posts by the Kurds forgetting that Iraq currently is for all communities,” he added.

“No one can deny the role of all the communities in building the country,” he remarked.

“All sides know well the value of the sacrifices presented by the Kurds to preserve the dignity and freedom of all citizens so they have the right of assuming such posts as granted by the constitution,” he concluded.

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The parliament Integrity Committee revealed that “The Commission of Integrity has more than sixty files of corruption against Anbar governor, Qasim Mohamed al-Fahdawi.”

The Rappateur of the Committee, Khalid al-Alwani, said “More than 62 corruption files are obtained by the Commission of Integrity against Anbar governor,” noting “we did not talk about this issue to the media outlets in order not to be accused of promoting electoral propaganda.”

In response to the recent remarks of Fahdawi, MP of Anbar province within the iraqiya Slate said “Anbar governor accused MPs and politicians from Anbar of being liars, while stating to certain Sat channel, describing this speech as disgraceful.”

“We will investigate Fahdawi on corruption issues,” Alwani added.

“Anbar government had mentioned that the implementation rate of the projects in Anbar reached 90% for 2012,” he added stressing “This report is groundless where the implementation rate of the projects is only 50%.”

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Secretary General of Peshmerga ministry of Kurdistan Regional government, Jabar Yawar, discussed with security delegation from the UN Assistance Mission for Iraq, (UNAMI), the situation in the disputed areas.

A statement by the Peshmerga reported “Yawar received on last Tuesday, in Erbil, a delegation from the UNAMI, comprising Colonel, Mohamed Badr, the military advisor for the UN in Erbil, and Colonel, Brain, the military advisor of the UN in Kirkuk. They discussed in the meeting, a number of issues related to the general situation of the central government of Iraq and the posture in the disputed areas in Iraq as well tackling the tensions in the western provinces.”

“The head of the Peshmerga ministry shed light on the peace agreement between Turkey and its opposition (PKK), stressing the need to implement this agreement positively. The delegation pointed out that the withdrawal of the PKK to Iraq would help calm down the tensions on Kurdistan borders,” the statement added.

The statement added “Bert expressed his deep sorrow on the victims of the violent operations in Iraq, urging the Iraqi government to find solutions for the current tensions. He called on all sides to practice utmost restraint.”

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Suzan al-Saad, of the Iraqi National Alliance called the parliament to expand the authorities of the Provincial Councils to provide more services to the citizens.

The Parliamentary Regions and Provinces Committee submitted the amendment of the Provinces Law No. 21 of 2008.

Saad stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The parliament must expand the authorities of the PCs to make them have flexibility in providing the services to the citizens.”

“The role of the PCs are to provide the services where all the political blocs have to provide the services to the citizens of the provinces that are not within regions,” she concluded.
