ISIL destroys 15 electricity towers in northern Babel

Babel, Hilla (IraqiNews.com) The terrorists affiliated to what is so called the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria detonated 15) pillars for transporting electric energy in Jurf al-Sakher area of northern Hilla.

The Head of the Security Committee within Babel Provincial Council, Thamer Theban, stated to IraqiNews.com ”The armed groups of ISIS used Improvised Explosive Devices to detonate 15 electricity pillars that supply Jurf al-Sakher area with electricity power.”

”The terrorists aim at destroying Jurf al-Sakher by sabotaging the electricity power in the area,” he added.’

‘The security forces blocked off the area in order to capture the armed groups and launched an investigation to figure out the circumstances behind the recent security breaches,” he concluded.
