 10 ISIS militants killed during clashes north of Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The commander of Anbar Operations, Maj. Gen. Ismail al-Mahalawi, announced on Saturday the killing of 10 elements of the ISIS as well as the destruction of a booby-trapped vehicle during clashes with the ISIS militants north of Ramadi.

Mahalawi said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The security forces, with support from the air force and the international coalition aviation, had managed to foil an offensive operation by ISIS on the forces stationed at Palestine Bridge north of Ramadi,” adding that, “The attack was carried out by a booby-trapped vehicle driven by a suicide bomber north of the city,” indicating that, “The vehicle was destroyed and 10 ISIS elements were killed.”
