(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Thursday, a source in the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced, that ten people were either killed or wounded in a bomb blast north of Baghdad.

The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “This morning, a bomb exploded near markets in Hamamiyat Village in Taji District north of Baghdad, killing three people and wounding seven others.”

The source added, “A security force rushed to the area and transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment and the dead bodies to the forensic medicine department, while a raid and search operation was carried out to search for the perpetrators of the bombing.”
