10 people killed, wounded in bomb blast near popular market west of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Interior Ministry announced on Saturday, that ten people had been either killed or wounded in the explosion of an explosive device near a popular market west of Baghdad.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “A bomb exploded this morning near a popular market in al-Bakriya area in Ghazaliya neighborhood west of Baghdad, resulting in the death of two people and the injury of eight others.”
The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added: “Ambulances rushed to the scene and transported the bodies of the dead to the forensic medicine department and the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment,” without giving further details.
