Chlorine gas rocket factory seized in Jurf al-Sakhar, 11 ISIS terrorists arrested
Babel (IraqiNews.com) Iraqi security forces arrested 11 ISIS terrorists and seized a factory for manufacturing chlorine gas rockets in Jurf al-Sakhar district of northern Babel.
The source stated for IraqiNews.com “Iraqi security forces accompanied by tribal fighters managed to detain 11 ISIS elements while attempting to launch a number of mortar shells [82mm] on army troops in al-Fadeliya area. The security forces have also found a laboratory used to manufacture chlorine gas in order to fill rocket mortar shells with it and launch it from the ISIS locations at al-Abd and Yassin near Jurf al-Sakher.”
“Army forces and armed volunteers are currently clashing with ISIS militants at al-Abd, Yassin, al-Fadeliya, and Faresiya areas near Jurf al-Sakher.” he added.
Noteworthy, a reliable source in the Iraqi Federal Police in Babel has said on Friday, that the ISIS militants used chlorine gas to open the roads while being locked in Jurf al-Sakhar.
