 12 ISIS elements killed, 45 explosives dismantled in Ramadi, says Federal Police

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The commander of the Federal Police Forces, Raed Shakir Jawdat, announced on Sunday the killing of 12 ISIS elements, as well as the dismantling of eight booby-trapped houses and 45 explosive devices in the city of Ramadi.

Jawdat said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com: “the security forces supported by the Federal Police managed to kill 12 terrorists belonging to ISIS in Husaybah area (7 km east of Ramadi).”

Jawdat stated that “the forces managed to dismantle eight booby-trapped houses and 45 an explosive devices in al-Madyaq area east of Ramadi.”

He also added that “A force from the commandos managed to kill three ISIS leaders and destroy a vehicle after being targeted by a missile in the western axis of Ramadi.”
