(IraqiNews.com) Diyala – A local source in Diyala Province revealed on Tuesday, that 13 mortar shells fell on two villages northeast of Baquba, while criticized the government silence about ISIS crimes in the liberated areas.

The Head of al-Mukdadiya Council, Adnan al-Tamimi said in a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, “ISIS shelled the villages of Albu Moussa and al-Lahib with 13 mortar shells, inflicting material losses in the area.”

Tamimi also criticized the government silence regarding ISIS crimes in the liberated villages and toward its residents during the previous months.
