 15 civilians killed, injured by ISIS shelling on Amiriyat Fallujah, says District Council

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – Amiriyat al-Fallujah District Council announced Saturday, that three civilians had been killed and 12 others were injured by a shelling that targeted their houses in the district.

The head of the council, Shaker al-Issawi, said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The ISIS organization shelled, at noon, by mortar shells and rockets the residential area in the district of Amiriyat al-Fallujah (23 km south of Fallujah), killing three civilians and wounding 12 others.”

Issawi also pointed out, “The victims of the terrorist attack included women and children.”
