 16 ISIS fighters killed in Iraqi aerial bombing in Salahuddin

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – The leadership of the Federal Police announced on Friday, that 16 members of the so-called ISIS were killed in an aerial Iraqi bombardment targeted their headquarters in Salahuddin Province, while emphasized the cleansing of the liberated areas in Ramadi of the IEDs.

The Federal Police Captain Raed Shakir Jawdat said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “A force from the Federal Police’s 10th brigade backed by Iraqi aircrafts carried out military operations on ISIS headquarters and gatherings in Layn area west of Samarra (40 km south of Tikrit) and Makhoul Mountains north of Beiji, killing 16 members belonging to ISIS, destructing four vehicles, as well as three defense sites.”

Jawdat also emphasized, “The Federal Police forces managed to cleanse the areas of Husaybah and Juwibah in the city of Ramadi of the improvised explosive devices.”
