(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – On Monday, a security source in Anbar province revealed, that 17 ISIS elements have been killed in an artillery strike east of Ramadi.

The source, who requested anonymity, informed IraqiNews.com, “The 8th artillery division of the army shelled, today, a site for ISIS in al-Khalediyah Island (23 km east of Ramadi), resulting in the death of 17 elements of the organization and the destruction of two vehicles for it.”

The source also added, “The army’s air force managed to destroy a store of ammunition in the area of al-Tamim and a headquarters for the ISIS organization near the area of Albu Ziyab north of Ramadi, causing material and human losses in the ranks of the organization.”
