 17 ISIS militants killed during clashes with tribal fighters west of Mosul

(IraqiNews.com) Dohuk – Media official of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Mosul Saeed Mamouzini announced on Tuesday the killing of 17 ISIS militants during clashes with one of the clans west of Mosul.

Mamouzini said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “Armed clashes broke out between ISIS gunmen and members of Albomteot Clan in Blige area in western Mosul,” noting that “the clashes resulted in the killing of 17 militants of the organization.”

Mamouzini pointed out: “The confrontations erupted between the two sides because the members of the tribe refused the practices of ISIS.”
