18 civilians killed, injured by suicide bombing in Baghdad

On (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, a source in the Iraqi police said that five civilians were killed and 13 others wounded in a suicide bombing in Al Hasina in the west of Baghdad.

The source said, in an interview for IraqiNews.com that “a suicide bomber wearing an explosive belt blew himself up among Al Hasina, in Mustafa al-Jihad neighborhood in western Baghdad, killing five worshipers and wounding 13 others.”

The source, who asked not to be named, added “a security force imposed a security cordon at the scene and transported the injured to the hospital and the bodies of the dead to the forensic medicine department.”
