(IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday the head of the security committee in Khalidiyah council in Anbar province announced the killing of 18 ISIS elements, including Arabs, in airstrikes targeted their gathering northeast of Ramadi (110 km west of Baghdad).

Ibrahim Fahdawi said in an interview for iraqiNews.com: “the intelligence information enabled the international coalition aircraft to bomb a gathering of ISIS elements in one of the houses in Joabh area, located 16 km northeast of Ramadi, resulting in the death of 18 terrorist elements of the organization, including Arab nationals.”

Fahdawi also added that “the air raid resulted in the destruction of three vehicles carrying medium and heavy weapons.”
