19 casualties in clashes with ISIS southern Tikrit

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Monday, a security source in Salahuddin province said, that 19 elements of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi forces have been either killed or injured in violent clashes with the ISIS group militants in southern Tikrit.

The source stated to IraqiNews in an interview, “Violent clashes broke out today between the Iraqi security forces backed by al-Hashed al-Sha’bi fighters and the ISIS group militants in the area of Dijla, located in southern Tikrit.”

“The clashes resulted in killing 8 elements of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi and wounding 11 others,” the source added.
