2 soldiers, civilian killed in armed attack south of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – According to a police source on Saturday, two soldiers and a civilian had been killed in an armed attack south of Baghdad.

The source reported for IraqiNews.com, “Gunmen opened fire against an army patrol in the district of al-Yusifiyah in southern Baghdad, resulting in the death of two soldiers and a civilian that was close to the patrol,” adding that, “Security forces cordoned off the area of the incident, while the bodies of the dead were transferred to the forensic medicine department.”
