(IraqiNews.com) A source in the Iraqi police announced Sunday, that 20 Iranian pilgrims were wounded in a bus accident west of Baghdad.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “A big bus carrying Iranian pilgrims overturned this morning on the highway in al-Adal neighborhood near Om al-Qora mosque west of Baghdad, which resulted in injuring 20 of them.”

The source, who requested not to remain anonymous, added, “The security force cordoned off the scene, while ambulances rushed take to the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment.”

It is noteworthy that the capital Baghdad and other provinces are experiencing a number of traffic accidents that result in killing and injuring many people for various reasons, such as the excessive speed and the roads that do not meet the general safety requirements.
