20 ISIS militants killed by Iraqi police, says Federal Police Command

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – On Thursday the Federal Police Command announced the killing of 20 ISIS elements in a security operation in the district of Baiji in north of Tikrit.
The commander of the Federal Police Forces, Raed Shaker Jawdat, announced today in a press statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “Today, a security force from the federal police had managed to kill 20 elements of ISIS in a number of areas in the district of Baiji, located 40 km north of Tikrit,” pointing out that, “The force was also able to destroy two vehicles belonging to ISIS, in addition to burning a booby-trapped vehicle that was heading from al-Siniyah area.”
