 21 ISIS militants killed in aerial bombing west of Samarra Island

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – Samarra Operations Command announced Wednesday, that the army’s air force managed to kill 21 ISIS fighters in a tactical air strike in west of Samarra Island.

The commander of Samarra Operations Command, Lieutenant-General Emad al-Zuhari, stated in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The Iraqi Army Aviation had conducted an aerial bombing against ISIS militants in west of Samarra Island,” pointing out that, “The air strike resulted in killing 21 ISIS militants, in addition to burning two vehicles that had carried machine-guns.”

“The operation was based on accurate information received by the intelligence,” he added.
