(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – Kurdish security source said on Wednesday, that 28 ISIS members had been either killed or wounded in an aerial bombardment by the international coalition in different parts of Mosul (405 km north of Baghdad).

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com: “the international coalition aircraft had bombed a house used by ISIS as a headquarters in al-Waliya village in al-Ayadiya (40 km west of Mosul), killing and injuring 10 of the elements of the organization.”

The source, who asked anonymity, noted: “another coalition air strike targeted a small truck carrying three ISIS members in Qibak village in al-Ayadiya, resulting in their death.”

“The coalition aircraft bombed ISIS sites in the area of Iski and Halbiya village in Badush area (20 km north-west of Mosul), resulting in the death of 15 elements of the organization, and wounding several others, in addition to destroying their headquarters and burning a number of vehicles,” the source added.
