(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – A security source in Kirkuk province announced on Wednesday, that 28 members of ISIS killed and injured in a bombing was carried out by the international coalition aircrafts southwest of the province.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com: “the international coalition aircrafts have bombed today ISIS sites including three tactical units in villages belonging to Hawija (55 km southwest of Kirkuk), killing about 18 elements and injuring ten others.”

The source, who asked not to be named, said: “The strikes destroyed a laboratory belonging to ISIS dedicated to the manufacture of improvised explosive devices and booby-trapping vehicles,” noting that, “the strikes were based on accurate intelligence.”

The source noted that “the strikes were concentrated in the villages of Kabiba and al-Safra and three locations in the area of Rashad.”
