3 dead, 16 injured in Karrada bombings in central Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, a source within the Iraqi police announced, that the outcome of Karrada district of central Baghdad bombings amounted to three dead and 16 injured.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com “The outcome of the three car bombs and an improvised explosive device, that targeted Salman Faeq street in Karrada district of central Baghdad, amounted to three dead and 16 injured, including three members of the FPS.”

The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added, “Ambulances transported the dead bodies the Forensic Medicine Authority and the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment, while security forces cordoned off the blast sites and prevented citizens from approaching them.”

A source in the Iraqi police said, earlier on Tuesday (February 3, 2015), that a number of people had been killed and wounded in the explosion of two car bombs and an improvised explosive device in Salman Faeq street in Karrada district in central Baghdad.
