3 dead, 9 injured in bombing in eastern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Thursday, a source within the police force stated that 3 civilians were killed and 9 others were injured in a bomb explosion in eastern Baghdad.

The source informed IraqiNews “This afternoon, a bomb that was emplaced on the side of the road in Jamila area exploded and resulted in killing 3 civilians and injuring 9 others including elements of Iraqi Army.”

“Security forces shortly blockaded the area and prevented civilians from approaching it. Ambulances ran into the area and carried the victims to a near hospital for medical treatment and the dead bodies were sent to the Forensic Medicine Authority.” he said.
