 32 ISIS elements killed, wounded in coalition strike in southwest of Kirkuk

(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – On Sunday, a security source in Kirkuk province revealed, that 32 ISIS elements have been either killed or injured in an air strike by the international coalition warplanes in the district of al-Hawija located in southwest of Kirkuk.

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, informed IraqiNews.com, “Today, warplanes of the international coalition conducted an aerial bombing against sites for the ISIS militants including 3 tactical units in the villages of al-Hawija District, located 55 km southwest of Kirkuk,” pointing out that, “The air strike resulted in killing 22 ISIS elements and injuring 10 others.”

The source also added, “The air strike had targeted other sites for the ISIS militants,” noting that, “The operation was based on accurate intelligence received by the coalition forces.”
