(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Saturday, a security source in Anbar Province announced, that a security force has evacuated 34 civilians including women and children who were besieged by the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) north of Ramadi.

The source said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “A force from Jazeera and Badiya Operations Command backed by the security forces managed to evacuate 34 civilians including women and children who were besieged by ISIS in the Modern Village area north of Ramadi.”

The source added, “The security forces transferred the evacuated civilians to al-Wafaa area (35 km west of Ramadi).”
