37 terrorists killed, 17 others arrested in Baghdad and Anbar, Defense Ministry

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday, that 37 terrorists have been killed and 17 others were arrested in Baghdad and Anbar provinces.
The ministry said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The heroes of Baghdad Operations Command, backed by Iraqi Air Force, the International Airline Alliance and in coordination with Anbar Operations Command managed to kill 10 terrorists and two snipers within Fajr al-Karma Operations.”
The ministry pointed to “the burning and the destruction of eight nests of the enemy and the destruction of five wheels, three of which were booby-trapped and one carrying machine-guns,”
“25 terrorists have been killed and 17 terrorists arrested in Tarmiya – Alhora area,” pointing out that” 168 mortar rounds have been found, in addition to four explosive devices and explosive materials in Abu Ghraib area,” The ministry added.
