(IraqiNews.com) According to a security source in Anbar province, four civilians were killed and 43 others were injured, mostly from the security forces, in clashes with ISIS elements in Ramadi.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “Violent clashes has been ongoing between the security forces and elements of ISIS group since yesterday until today morning, leaving at least four civilians dead and 43 wounded, mostly from the security forces.

The source, who requested to remain anonymous, added, “Bodies of the dead were transferred to the Forensic Medicine Authority and the wounded are receiving treatment in a nearby hospital.”

On Wednesday, Anbar Provincial Council warned that ISIS control over the province is imminent, and that the city of Ramadi is about to collapse.
