5 New Zealanders fight with ISIS in Syria says NZ PM

 

Wellington, New Zealand (IraqiNews.com) John Key, the Prime Minister of New Zealand stated on Wednesday, that there are 5 New Zealanders fighting with the ISIS group.

Key said, “We have up to 40 people on the government watchlist because of their involvement with or support for the ISIS group. There are 5 New Zealanders fighting alongside the ISIS group in Syria, and 9 New Zealanders have had their passports cancelled after attempting to travel to Syria and fight for ISIS.”

“We’re extremely concerned about New Zealanders being attracted to this brutal regime as ISIS has been successful in recruiting New Zealander to its cause” said Key.
