(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – A source in Nineveh Liberation Operations Command announced on Wednesday, that the security forces killed 50 ISIS fighters after repelling their attack south of Mosul (405 km north of Baghdad).

The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “This morning the joint security forces were able to repel ISIS attack on the villages of Kabrouk, al-Naser, al-Mahana and Khrbirdan in Makhmur District (80 km south of Mosul), killing 50 ISIS fighters.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added, “The security forces were able to repel the attack without suffering any losses.”
