(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad Operations Command (BOC) announced on Sunday, that 553 ISIS elements have been killed and wounded, 1725 explosive devices and a booby-trapped house have been dismantled, and 81 ISIS hideouts were destroyed in military operations east al-Karma in Fallujah.

BOC called the displaced families to return to their homes in the liberated areas.

The Commander of Baghdad Operations Lt. Gen Abdul Amir al-Shammari said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The operations that took place in the east of al-Karma areas resulted in killing 536 terrorists and wounding 17 others and destroying 51 vehicles and 81 terrorists’ hideouts,” pointing to “the dismantling of 1521 improvised explosive devices and 204 booby-trapped house.”

Shammari added, “The security forces also managed to destroy 23 vehicles carrying terrorists and the seize of four others, while destroyed 12 Hummers, a tanker and two motorcycles.
