 Over 60 ISIS fighters killed during military operations southwest of Samarra

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – Al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia announced Thursday, that 60 ISIS elements were killed during military operations in southwest of Samarra.

The Media Office of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia announced in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Today the Peace Brigades had managed to kill more than 60 terrorists while advancing into the area of al-Laiyn located in southwest of Samarra District.”

Earlier today the president of the security and defense committee in the Parliament, Hakem al-Zamli, said that the army forces with support from the Peace Brigades managed to liberate al-Rumailat, Sayed Gharib, al-Laiyn and Samarra Island, while also arrived in Nazim Thurthar.
