(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – A source in Borders Guards Command in Anbar Province announced on Saturday, that seven members of the so-called ISIS were killed in armed confrontations against the security forces on the Saudi-Iraqi borders west of Ramadi (110 km west of Baghdad).

The source reported for IraqiNews.com, “Armed clashes erupted, at noon today, between the security forces and ISIS members, after attacking al-Majna border point in Arar area on the Iraqi-Saudi borders (460 km west of Ramadi),” pointing out that, “The security forces managed to kill seven members of ISIS and destructed a vehicle mounted with a machine gun.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added, “The security forces strengthened their presence in Arar border points, and along the border strip between Iraq and Saudi Arabia in anticipation of similar terrorist attacks.”
