7 ISIS militants killed in Fallujah says Operations Command

Al-Anbar (IraqiNews.com) On Monday, a source in Anbar Operations Command said that Iraqi forces managed to kill 7 ISIS militants and destroy an armored vehicle as well as a residency belonged to ISIS in southern Fallujah.

The source informed IraqiNews that, “This afternoon, a security force from SWAT managed to kill 7 ISIS militants and destroy their vehicle in a small operation against their residency at Hitawyn in southern Fallujah.”

“Intelligence information was received regarding ISIS positioning in that location” he said.

ISIS militants have taken over large expanses of territories in the province on the back of Iraqi forces made made a tactical withdrawal from the province.
