7 prisoners escaped in central Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A security source said on Wednesday, that seven prisoners escaped from inside the anti-terrorism office in central Baghdad, emphasizing that the security forces arrested five of them.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “Seven prisoners escaped from the office of the anti-terrorism office in Karrada district of central Baghdad during cleaning the prison,” noting that, “they are accused of killing and kidnapping.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added: “The security forces arrested five of them” adding that, “the Interior Ministry formed an investigation committee.”
