7 soldiers killed, wounded in armed attack north of Fallujah

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – A source in Anbar police said on Thursday, that seven soldiers had been either killed or wounded in an armed attack that targeted a gathering of the security forces north of Fallujah (62 km west of Baghdad).
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com “Elements of the ISIS organization attacked a gathering of the security forces near the Japanese Bridge (20 km north of Fallujah), resulting in the death of three soldiers and wounding four others.”
The source added, “ISIS had taken advantage of the difficult weather conditions in the implementation of terrorist attacks that targeted the security forces in Anbar.”
